APPIC Internship Series
Throughout the month of July, I shared a 4-part series with three school psychology doctoral candidates who matched with internship sites this past spring. Adrianna Crossing, Dieu Truong, and Stephanie Campbell spoke with me about their experiences going through the APPIC predoctoral internship process.
APPIC is the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers. Psychology doctoral students from APA-accredited programs typically apply for internships before their last year of the program. Each video focuses on different aspects of the application process, and I wanted to share them all with you here.
As a third-year doctoral student, I will be beginning the application process next year. I have been searching and saving brochures and handbooks for internship sites that catch my interest. Speaking with three students who just went through the process helped me map out how I want to move through the APPIC process when my time comes.
